“Shock, disbelief, fear and dismay were some of the feelings that arose as within a week of going to the doctor for a minor query, Darren and I were delivered the news that I had a terminal and highly aggressive cancer. Never could we have prepared ourselves as a family for this, and yet within hours a resilience and peace began to enter our family. Both Darren and myself as individuals would have been quite devastated but a particular line from Amazing Grace describes how this peace found its way into our hearts and remains there reminding us how loved we really are.
'How precious did that Grace appear . . .
The hour we first believed.'
We felt certain that I would indeed get better and that God was with us every step of the way. His Grace and the prayers of so many, picked our family up and carried us through a time in our lives of intense suffering and brought about so many blessings and moments of pure joy. Prayers, cards, flowers and gifts and texts (isn't modern technology great – thank goodness I've finally learnt how to read them) were showered upon us from family, friends, friends of friends and from complete strangers. The love was almost tangible and incredibly humbling. We would like to sincerely thank all of those who have so generously given in so many ways. It is difficult to do this personally but you are all with us in our hearts.”
Love and God bless
Tiffany
As Tiffany recovers from two lots of major surgery (click here to see history of events) we are seeking your support for the Tipladys. Most importantly, please continue to pray that this beautiful young wife and mother can be healed of cancer and restored to full health. Your messages and thoughts would be greatly received as they give so much courage and support to Tiffany and Darren. We are also seeking financial donations on the Tipladys' behalf, as overseas treatment will be necessary for this very rare cancer.
